Meet the Doctor

Dr. Patricia Kiser, D.C.

CEO and Director of Care at University Chiropractic

Dr. Patricia Kiser-Cohen was born and raised in San Mateo, California attending Aragon High School.

With an innate passion for healing, Dr. Kiser became enthralled with the human body and what causes pain, disease, and lack of quality of life. During high school, Dr. Kiser became involved in cheerleading, horseback riding, and soccer but suffered from debilitating back pain following the fracturing of her lower back. She began researching holistic ways to treat this pain and was made aware of chiropractic through a personal mentor. The following summer she began interning in a sports-medicine chiropractic clinic treating various professional athletic organizations. This internship solidified her pursuit of becoming a chiropractor. She began studying pre-medicine earning her bachelor of science in human biology from Patten University. Following her graduation from Patten, she enrolled in Chiropractic College gaining her Doctorate in Chiropractic Care in 1994. After gaining clinical experience in chiropractic for three years she started her own practice in 1997.

Dr. Kiser has been noted for her healing abilities with clientele coming from all over the Bay Area. Because of her vast experience in anatomy and physiology, she is able to find the pain and provide instant relief allowing you to be at your most optimal level of health.

Marilyn was referred to us by her son who goes to another Max living office. When she came in she could barely walk and there were days she had to leave lying down in the car. But she pushed through and was consistent with her 3x a week. In just 18 visits look where she is, it’s been 1 week with no walker!
We are so proud of Marilyn and are so excited for her continued health journey!
John B. met Dr. Kiser and her team at a street festival in Palo Alto about 3-4 years ago. John suffered for many years with back pain and had previous back surgery. Initially he never really thought chiropractic care could help but with the pain, he was experiencing, he thought hey what do I have to lose. Since under care John has had great relief and has also experienced reduced stress and continues to maintain his spine with weekly adjustments. If he could tell others something it would be to be open to new things because they can help!
We are so proud of John B. and are so excited for his continued health journey!
